Wholesale prices and credit customers, on the same till

Each item and each of its packs has a retail and a wholesale price, dated, with the history kept. Mark a customer as wholesale and the till uses the wholesale price for them; the bill shows where each price came from.

Put a bill on account up to the customer's credit limit; a customer with no limit pays at the counter. Their statement shows every bill and payment with a running balance. Payments come in as cash through the drawer, bank transfer, card or wallet.

Retail, school, institution or wholesale, set per customer, and brought in from your old list with their opening balances.

Take an order for a customer at the till with Order (F7). Copies in stock are held for them until a hold date, and the rest is awaited. Hand the goods over in one go or in parts from Pending deliveries: each hand-over is a normal bill at the price agreed on the order.

A named, dated price list for a school or a group of shops: their own price for chosen items, or a discount off a publisher or a category. Give a customer the list and the till uses it for them. Quantity breaks give a lower price from a set quantity. Negotiated prices are never mixed with walk-in promotions, and the bill shows where each price came from.
