Terms of use (draft)
This is a draft pending legal review, written in plain language. It is not yet in force and will change before BooksPOS is offered generally.
1. What BooksPOS is today
BooksPOS is software in development by Innobrains Technologies: a Windows point of sale with a store server, and BooksPOS Cloud. It is not yet production-ready. Features described on this site as planned are not available.
2. Your account
Give accurate details, keep your password to yourself, and turn on two-step sign-in. You are responsible for what is done with your account and for the store PCs you pair with it. Revoke a PC you no longer control.
3. Your data
Your shop's records are yours. We use them only to provide BooksPOS to you, as described in the privacy policy. A suspension of your licence does not delete your data.
4. Tax and FBR
BooksPOS does not report invoices to FBR today, and nothing on this site is tax advice. Your tax and fiscal obligations stay yours; confirm them with FBR, your adviser or a licensed integrator.
5. The licence offline
Each store PC holds a signed licence grant for a limited time plus a grace period. Changes to your licence reach a PC when it next connects.
6. Fees
No plans or prices have been announced, and nothing on this site takes payment.
7. Fair use
Do not try to reach other businesses' data, overload the service, or pair PCs you are not entitled to.
8. Liability and everything else
Warranty, liability, governing law and dispute terms are still to be written with legal advice.
